Photoworld Asia 2010 gathers local and foreign photographers–
Asia’s biggest and longest running photography event, Photoworld Asia, will once again gather local and foreign photographers from January 28 to February 2. The trade show will be held at the Glorietta, Ayala Center in Makati City while the educational series of photography seminars at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
According to Eduviges Huang, chairperson of the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF), the annual Photoworld Asia boasts of a big gathering of photographer-artists whose objectives include enhancing their knowledge and skills about photography which can be used for their own purpose, be it in business or just a hobby. This is also a venue to meet old friends and find new ones to promote camaraderie and fun among photographers.

Kevin Ames, a U.S. master photographer, will be one of the guest speakers who will reveal his secrets on photographing women and his masterful Photoshop tricks. Other speakers are: Thailand-based photographers Manny Librodo (who will share his portraiture techniques) and Jose Librodo (an artist and photographer who will delve on design elements); Hugo D. Yonzon III on harnessing the creative energy; John Silva on Philippine photography history; Jason Magbanua, John Tronco, Isa Lorenzo, and Bernie Ledesma (a Filipino flash wizard who will share his strobist techniques). Manny Inumerable is this year’s event chairman.
